The Hello Sailor 2010 calendar

Calypso Harland is the sea siren behind The Hello Sailor 2010 Calendar. She's embarking on a ten month long voyage crossing the world’s most dangerous oceans in the Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race starting this September 2009. As well as trying to raise enough bounty for the race, Calypso is also raising money for the charity Médecins Sans Frontières who will receive half of the proceeds from the sale of every calendar.

Together with designer Nick Fell and photographer Charlotte Anderson, they have created what can only be interpreted as the most gorgeous sailing calendar ever, full of pin-up beauties and lusty sailors.Calypso has just one month to reach her target of 70,000 pounds to raise the money for the race and her chosen charity Médecins Sans Frontières. MSF, an independent international humanitarian organization, delivers emergency medical aid in more than 60 countries worldwide.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent humanitarian medical aid organisation. We arecommitted to providing medical aid where it is most needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender and also to raising awareness of the plight of the people we help.

The models are a collection of gorgeous friends who all thought like it sounded a fun project to be involved in and who wanted to help me achieve my dream. The pin-up theme was great to work with as none of us are particularly serious and we really had a great laugh on the shoot. We were really fortunate to have some exceptionally talented hair and make-up artists on board who worked tirelessly to transform the girls into sizzling hot pin-up beauties.
